Campaigners against the proposal to build 5000 homes on farm land to the east of Thurmaston made their feelings clear when they staged a protest march in Barkby in April.
They paraded along Main Street with banners and chanted “stop the 5000 houses”, the banners were then erected at the edge of the village.
Public exhibitions were held in May by CEG Consultants and David Wilson Homes which explained the process and initial ideas for the proposal.
Following the exhibitions the Thurmaston Times submitted questions to CEG Consultants. Click here to see their answers.
